<p>All three of these men began their careers with Wieser Brothers in 1996 and have continued to grow in their responsibilities and skill level.&nbsp; Each one is an invaluable part of the Wieser Brothers crew.</p>

<p><span><span class="full-image-float-left ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 100px;" src="http://www.wieserbrothers.com/storage/HaseTodd.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1328808839742" alt="" /></span></span>Todd Hase began with Wieser Brothers in December of 2011.&nbsp; He has an extensive background in the construction industry, beginning his career as a Carpenter in 1988 and subsequently moving into a Field Superintendent position.&nbsp; In 1994, Todd transitioned into the project management area of construction and has worked on a number of projects since that time including the Vernon Memorial Medical Office Building in Viroqua, WI,&nbsp; Pasteur Hall at Winona State University in Winona, MN, and the Sundance 608 Theater in Madison, WI to name a few.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span>Pat Ries started with Wieser Brothers in August of 2010 as an on-site supervisor.<span class="full-image-float-right ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 100px;" src="http://www.wieserbrothers.com/storage/RiesPat.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1328809529289" alt="" /></span></span>&nbsp; Shortly thereafter, he moved into the position of Project Manager and has been responsible for a number of successful Wieser Brother projects since that time.&nbsp; Pat began his career in commercial construction in 1992 in Long Beach, California.&nbsp; In 2010, he and his wife decided to move their family back to the Coulee Region area and he was able to bring his 20+ years of construction experience to the Wieser Brother family.</span></p>
<p><span><span class="full-image-float-left ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 100px;" src="http://www.wieserbrothers.com/storage/SchliferAndrew.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1328809073206" alt="" /></span></span>Andrew Schlifer began working for Wieser Brothers in 2007 as a temporary summer laborer shortly after graduating from the carpentry program at Southeast Technical in Winona, MN.&nbsp; In the fall of 2007, he furthered his education by attending the University of Wisconsin-Stout obtaining his Construction Management Degree in May of 2010.&nbsp; While attending UW-Stout, he continued to intern at Wieser during the summer of 2009 and upon his graduation 2010 began his full-time career at Wieser Brothers.</span></p>
<p><span>Todd, Pat, and Andrew&rsquo;s responsibilities will include overseeing the daily management of Wieser Brother projects which will include working closely with the owners, project architects, project superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure that the project stays on schedule and within budget.&nbsp; They also will be responsible for reviewing bids, supervising contract administration, coordinating change orders, creating project schedules, and overseeing material acquisitions.</span></p>]]></content></entry><entry><title>Superintendent/Foreman/Project Manager Training</title><id>http://www.wieserbrothers.com/welcome/2012/2/9/superintendentforemanproject-manager-training.html</id><link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://www.wieserbrothers.com/welcome/2012/2/9/superintendentforemanproject-manager-training.html"/><author><name>Wieser Brothers</name></author><published>2012-02-09T17:09:53Z</published><updated>2012-02-09T17:09:53Z</updated><content type="html" xml:lang="en-US"><![CDATA[<p><span class="full-image-float-right ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 300px;" src="http://www.wieserbrothers.com/storage/IMG_6728.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1328807660448" alt="" /></span></span>In Wieser Brothers continued effort to provide the best training available to our employees, throughout the year we hold meetings with our supervisory role employees to keep abreast of the most current construction trends, as well as reviewing past and current projects to evaluate what practices work the best in providing the exceptional quality of product our clients have become accustomed to.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Most recently, we had Randy Fenske from Wausau Supply Company meet with our group on January 20<sup>th</sup>, 2012 to discuss air barriers, proper flashing, and the proper construction practices to avoid moisture related issues. &nbsp;&nbsp;On February 6<sup>th</sup>, 2012, Don Koblinski from TK Products addressed the issues of properly curing and sealing concrete and finishing techniques.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Future meetings are scheduled on February 13<sup>th</sup>, 2012 to address safety issues on the jobsite, and March 12<sup>th</sup>, 2012 to review additional jobsite supervision and maintenance issues.</p>]]></content></entry><entry><title>WB Employees Graduate from Managing Projects &amp; Supervising Jobsites Program</title><id>http://www.wieserbrothers.com/welcome/2012/1/30/wb-employees-graduate-from-managing-projects-supervising-job.html</id><link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://www.wieserbrothers.com/welcome/2012/1/30/wb-employees-graduate-from-managing-projects-supervising-job.html"/><author><name>Wieser Brothers</name></author><published>2012-01-30T21:52:55Z</published><updated>2012-01-30T21:52:55Z</updated><content type="html" xml:lang="en-US"><![CDATA[<p>Congratulations to Project Managers <strong><em>Pat Ries</em></strong> and<strong><em> Andrew Schlifer</em></strong> for receiving their Certificate of Achievement in the Managing Projects &amp; Supervising Jobsites program from the Construction Estimating Institute in Minneapolis, MN.&nbsp;</p>
<p>This 30 hour program included training on incorporating measurable leadership standards, communication assets, process based project management for planning, controlling and closeout, risk management deciders, project buy-in, project success requirements, and jobsite cost time.</p>
<p><strong><em>Jim Wieser</em></strong>, <strong><em>Nick Mezera</em></strong>, <strong><em>Mark Jennings</em></strong>, and <strong><em>Nate Klawiter</em></strong> joined the class on January 25th, 2012 for the Supervising Jobsites part of the program and all received their Certificate of Achievement for that portion of the class as well.</p>

<p>Connected to Carroll Heights and Hillview Health Care Center, Hillview Terrace was designed with a bright, open concept allowing many areas for socialization inside and out.&nbsp; Outside boasts a wrap-around front porch facing the bluffs, a garden patio area that is always shaded, and a sunset patio which faces west and overlooks both the evening sunsets and the children&rsquo;s baseball fields below which will provide hours and summer entertainment.&nbsp; The inside offers a solarium that opens all the way to the second floor allowing the warmth of the sunlight to enter, a parlor with a double fireplace, and a dining room surrounded by windows for viewing the sunsets from inside.</p>
<p>This new 30 unit facility offers residents the option of living in a studio, a one-bedroom, or a 2-bedroom living space.&nbsp; Amenities of this new facility include a country kitchen, a country store, a living room, private dining area, fitness room, and spa.&nbsp; Upstairs includes a game room loft area which opens to the solarium below, a salon, and a library/computer center.</p>

<p>The 2011 JSA focused on ways to reduce direct cost expenses and improve manpower productivity.&nbsp; Participants in the academy had to have a minimum of five years field experience with at least one year in a supervisory or leadership position.</p>
