Wieser Brothers is proud to announce three new additions to our Project Management Team.  This expansion of our project management crew further strengthens our ability to meet the needs of our customers while continuing to provide the excellence that our clients have become accustomed to.

Todd Hase began with Wieser Brothers in December of 2011.  He has an extensive background in the construction industry, beginning his career as a Carpenter in 1988 and subsequently moving into a Field Superintendent position.  In 1994, Todd transitioned into the project management area of construction and has worked on a number of projects since that time including the Vernon Memorial Medical Office Building in Viroqua, WI,  Pasteur Hall at Winona State University in Winona, MN, and the Sundance 608 Theater in Madison, WI to name a few.

Pat Ries started with Wieser Brothers in August of 2010 as an on-site supervisor.  Shortly thereafter, he moved into the position of Project Manager and has been responsible for a number of successful Wieser Brother projects since that time.  Pat began his career in commercial construction in 1992 in Long Beach, California.  In 2010, he and his wife decided to move their family back to the Coulee Region area and he was able to bring his 20+ years of construction experience to the Wieser Brother family.

Andrew Schlifer began working for Wieser Brothers in 2007 as a temporary summer laborer shortly after graduating from the carpentry program at Southeast Technical in Winona, MN.  In the fall of 2007, he furthered his education by attending the University of Wisconsin-Stout obtaining his Construction Management Degree in May of 2010.  While attending UW-Stout, he continued to intern at Wieser during the summer of 2009 and upon his graduation 2010 began his full-time career at Wieser Brothers.

Todd, Pat, and Andrew’s responsibilities will include overseeing the daily management of Wieser Brother projects which will include working closely with the owners, project architects, project superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure that the project stays on schedule and within budget.  They also will be responsible for reviewing bids, supervising contract administration, coordinating change orders, creating project schedules, and overseeing material acquisitions.

In Wieser Brothers continued effort to provide the best training available to our employees, throughout the year we hold meetings with our supervisory role employees to keep abreast of the most current construction trends, as well as reviewing past and current projects to evaluate what practices work the best in providing the exceptional quality of product our clients have become accustomed to.

Most recently, we had Randy Fenske from Wausau Supply Company meet with our group on January 20th, 2012 to discuss air barriers, proper flashing, and the proper construction practices to avoid moisture related issues.   On February 6th, 2012, Don Koblinski from TK Products addressed the issues of properly curing and sealing concrete and finishing techniques.

Future meetings are scheduled on February 13th, 2012 to address safety issues on the jobsite, and March 12th, 2012 to review additional jobsite supervision and maintenance issues.
