Groundbreaking - Altra Operations Center Expansion

Wieser Brothers is pleased to be partnering with Altra Federal Credit Union to build the expansion of their operations center in Onalaska Wisconsin. The new 60,000 square foot addition will primarily house additional office space for their staff
.
The groundbreaking for this expansion was held on Monday, July 25th, 2011 at their existing facility with work beginning on Tuesday, July 26th, 2011.
WB Employees Graduate from the Jobsite Superintendent Academy (JSA)
Congratulations to Nick Mezera, Jonathan Powell, Kevin Roesler and Andrew Schlifer of Wieser Brothers General Contractor, Inc., La Crescent, Minnesota who recently graduated from the 40-hour Jobsite Superintendent Academy (JSA) of the training trust of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin, a chapter of the nation’s fastest growing construction management association.
The 2011 JSA focused on ways to reduce direct cost expenses and improve manpower productivity. Participants in the academy had to have a minimum of five years field experience with at least one year in a supervisory or leadership position.

Through our commitment to safety, employee benefits, training, and community relations (outreach activities), Wieser Brothers is now recognized as an AQC contractor for the 2nd year in a row.

Safety Award of Excellence
Associated Builders & Contractors of Wisconsin (ABC-WI) provides an opportunity to have our safety program evaluated and/or recognized by the ABC-WI Safety Committee. Contractors are recognized for a number of company accomplishments, as one successful contractor is awarded the Safety Award of Excellence in one of two categories: under 200,000 hours worked and over 200,000 hours worked.
For 2010, Wieser Brothers General Contractor, Inc. was awarded the Safety Award of Excellence (under 200,000 hours worked). This award is a true illustration of Wieser Brothers' commitment to safety and are proud to accept it on behalf of all WB employees.
Wieser Brothers Receives the 'GIVE' Award
Wieser Brothers was proud to accept the 'GIVE' award at the 61st Annual Meeting for the Great Rivers United Way. For the past three (3) years, Wieser Brothers has stepped up and increased United Way donations to maintain the status as a Pace Setter company.
